Church
Greeter & Ushers Ministry: As John the Baptist was a
forerunner of the ministry of Jesus Christ, the church greeter is a
forerunner of all the other ministries in the congregation. The attitude the
greeter demonstrates in the foyer of the church is a forerunner of the
ministry to be experienced in the sanctuary. At Christ's Church there are
certain characteristics that we look for in a greeter...must be filled with
the Holy Spirit, loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, gentle, full of humor,
goodness, be faithful each week, resourceful, prompt and an ambassador of
kindness.
