Dedication - December 9, 2007

December 6, 2007

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ at CCY,

Greetings to you all from Chiang Mai, Thailand!

Thank you very much for your continuous help both for our home purchase and for the ministry.
Our words can not express adequately for your continuous help we have been receiving from you. We just pray that our heavenly Father will reward you for your love and generosity.

I am sure John and Kathy are probably somewhere above the Pacific Ocean. We are looking forward to spending some time with them while they are here in Chiang Mai.

The Samaki congregation sends you their special thanks. They are very excited and could not wait to meet John and Kathy. God bless you.

With deep gratitude,
Jerry and Boonporn

Nearly finished...preparing for the Dedication Ceremony in December!

August 31, 2007

Dear John, Kathy and all friends at Yukon,

It is a joy to see the church building you have been building for Samaki Christian Church
is nearly completed. So it is going to be ready for dedication when you come in December. I have instructed Samaki church to plan for church dedication on December 9, on the Sunday you will be here. We have received your itinerary and it seems all okay. Boonporn and I are looking forward to seeing you again. Please find the church building pictures on the attachment file.

We would like to share with you about the good news of our loan from the bank for our home. The bank has approved 50% loan for our home purchase. So far we have $35,000 on hand. We are lacking another $15,000. The bank told us that we can get this loan whenever we are ready within three months. Along with
the fund you and others given to us, we have been trying to save all we could, but this is all we could do. We will appreciate your prayers for this need. We
want to proceed with buying this home before you come so that you can see it. Only the Lord knows. We totally trust Him. We know He is a generous God who often time surprises us.

Burma working very exciting. As we have mentioned earlier, two more home churches have been started. So several of our evangelists conduct Sunday worship services at two different places, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. Praise God that His churches are being added up continually. Since you will be in Rangoon for only Sunday we will arrange most of those people from different home churches to come and worship at one place, at the center you have bought for them.

John, would you like to preach at Samaki church dedication and in Rangoon? Will you be too tired? Please let me know. I know you will be very tired with jetlag.

All for now. God bless you richly.

Your friends,
Jerry and Boonporn

Dear John and all friends at Yukon,

It has been quite a while since I sent pictures of the building to you. It has been raining alot in the month of May which had slowed down the building process. Please see the current situation of the Samaki building at the attached file. This coming week they will put the roofing and then work on the interior parts.

Dadwi building has been completed and left only window and other minor parts needed to finish. This project had been also delayed by heavy monsoon rain last May. But praise the Lord! Both buildings are about to be completed. Let us rejoice together and praise God.

Yours for His Services,
Jerry and Boonporn

Dear brother John and Kathy and all friends at Yukon,

We are rejoicing and praising God that the church building at both places are in progress. We are so thankful to you all for making this happen and these churches that you are building in both countries will glorify God.  Many people will worship the Lord in these buildings in deep gratitude to you for giving them a place for worship. Please find the pictures in attachment of both buildings on the construction. We will continue to update as the works progress. God bless you.

Yours for Christ,

Jerry and Boonporn

Dear Brother John,

I am sorry for taking so long to answer to your question and sending you pictures of the building progress. I was trying to get the pictures in order to write to you and give you the information of where we are in this building project.

Preparing the foundation took for the whole month of February and just got the foundation finished. Right now they are allowing the cement to dry for a week and beginning next week they will put up the wall and roof and so on. I am not sure how long will it take to finish it. I will update you as the building progresses.

Burma building at Dadwi had also started at the beginning of this month. I do not have pictures of this building yet. They are sending me the pictures on Sunday with a man who will come to Chiang Mai. I will send these pictures as soon as I receive.

Yes, I enjoy reading your church news with your picture. Thanks God of this wonderful technology.

The church building pictures of Samaki are as follows. (see below)

All for now. Thank you very much for your help for those church buildings. May God richly bless your family and the church.

Your friends,
Jerry

The church building pictures of Samaki are as follows.

1. The construction began by preparing the ground.
2. Next the water tanks are being put up
3. Bricks for building are being transported from Chiang Mai and unloaded
4. Preparing the ground for the pavement
5. These men are leveling the cement
6. Ground pavement is done.

Dear John,

Here are some pictures of Samaki village and land set aside for building the church. The first picture is of meeting with the village leaders including Jonathan Mabu, a preacher of the village.

The second picture is down stair of Jonathan's house where they have Sunday services.

The third picture is of the land from outside at the village street junction

and the last picture is of the land itself where the church will be built.

Hope that this gives you a pretty view of the place.  All for now. God bless you.
Jerry
