We are a community in Yukon, Oklahoma, gathered for the glory of God, learning to love Him and love our neighbors. Everything we do flows from Jesus and the good news He brings.

Our Purpose

Why we exist: The Purpose of Christ's Church of Yukon (CCY) is to exist as a community for the glory of God.

Our Mission

What we are here to do: The Mission of Christ's Church of Yukon (CCY) is to know Christ and to make him known to the community and world.

Supporting Scripture –"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20, NIV)


Our Values

"Who" we are… – The list of values below has been identified as the core principles driving our mission and vision. This is a shared list that reflects the fundamental values CCY stands for.

  The Core Values of Christ's Church of Yukon (CCY) are:

  • Making Christ Known (Evangelism) – "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." (John 17:3, NIV)
  • Deeply Rooted Faith (Discipleship/Faith) – "And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge —that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:17-19, NIV)
  • Passionately Pursuing Truth through the Word of God (Truth) – "Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:31-32, NIV)
  • Actively Serving in This Time and Place (Service) – "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? Our Vision

"How" we do the mission… - The Vision of Christ's Church of Yukon (CCY) is to Love God and Love People.

Supporting Scripture – "Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39, NIV)

  • Love God – To fully pursue loving God, CCY will:

OUR AFFILIATION: 

Christ's Church was started as and has continued to be a non-denominational Christian Church. We have an affiliation with the Independent Christian Churches in the United States. There are approximately 5,000 Christian churches like us across America.

We are an independent church! There is no denominational control or hierarchy, as there are in most other denominations. Each church is self-governed and determines its own affairs.
