We are a community in Yukon, Oklahoma, gathered for the glory of God, learning to love Him and love our neighbors. Everything we do flows from Jesus and the good news He brings.

Our Purpose

Why we exist: to be a community for the glory of God. (1 Peter 2:9)

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (1 Peter 2:9, NIV)

Our Mission

What we are here to do:  To know Christ and to make Him known to the community and the world.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20, NIV

OUR AFFILIATION: 

Christ's Church was started as and has continued to be a non-denominational Christian Church. We have an affiliation with the Independent Christian Churches in the United States. There are approximately 5,000 Christian churches like us across America.

We are an independent church! There is no denominational control or hierarchy, as there are in most other denominations. Each church is self-governed and determines its own affairs.
