STAFF

Clay Parrett - Lead Pastor

Clay is always willing to take you out for a cup of coffee for two good reasons--he loves people and he loves coffee! He's been serving at CCY since 1997, wearing a number of different hats because of his multi-giftedness. He is high-energy but not so much that you won't catch him occasionally sitting back with one of his guitars (he has a collection), singing a praise song, or even enjoying a Colts game on TV. He is a committed husband to his wonderful wife, Jennifer, and a dedicated father to his two boys, Luke and Zach. One of his preferred subjects is leadership so you might find him reading Andy Stanley or Steve Farrar. Though he is not beyond getting into a nerf gun war with the youth, Clay loves even more getting into the Word and sharing it with others in a dynamic, down-to-earth style.

Chris Miller - Youth Ministries

Chris is an avid sports fan! He loves Liverpool FC, Thunder basketball, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Oklahoma Sooners. He enjoys all sports but has a preference for bowling, soccer, football, and disc golf. He went to Dallas Christian College and graduated in 2015. While in college, He played soccer, where DCC won the ACCA national title in the fall of 2014 (He was the only senior AND scored in the national championship final). He felt the call to ministry while attending Boiling Springs Christian Service Camp as a student with CCY in June of '06 and was ordained at CCY by the leadership in July of '14. His heart is in leading these students to Christ and helping guide them in their walk through life and their walk with Christ. His goal in this ministry would be to educate and equip the students so that they could be educated, equip, and disciple their peers as a student and also in their adult life.

Kathy Stanka - Finance Administrator

Kathy Stanka is our Finance Administrator here at Christ's Church of Yukon. She is a great team player and brings to the team an extensive background in the legal field. She is highly organized and motivated and helps keep the staff team grounded when it comes to the church's finances, while still encouraging us to look ahead in our individual ministries so we can make a great Kingdom impact. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her grandkids and watch them play volleyball and is quite competitive on the golf course.

Dana Park - Children's Ministries

Though musically trained, a certified fitness instructor, and a professional actor (you may have seen her in a local commercial), one of Dana Park's greatest gifts is her love for children; and they love her. She has been at CCY since 2010 where her co-workers use adjectives like positive, fun, outgoing, and kind-hearted to describe her. She and her husband, Todd, have three children, yet somehow in her "spare time," she manages to garden, decorate, make crafts, and exercise. If you look down Dana's list of favorites, it would include the color pink, author Francine Rivers, singer Celine Deion and the television show, "The Voice."

Tori Lambert - Children's Ministries

If you want to find Tori, just look for the kids. They flock around her. And she never seems to be harried or hassled by our little ones. In fact, she says that children always make her smile. At the same time, Tori shows her appreciation of all ages when she talks about her grandfather as a great influence in her life or Audrey Hepburn as her favorite actress! She enjoys reading Francine Rivers, watching "Big Brother", and laughing through "When Harry Met Sally". By nature, Tori is very caring and nurturing; that's perfect for the one in charge of CCY's Nursery-Kindergarten. Oh, and one more thing that makes her kid-friendly, she's afraid of clowns!

Kathy Rumbo - Administrative Assistant

Kathy was born and raised in the small mining town of Klerksdorp, South Africa (you may have noticed the accent!). Her diverse career path has spanned from Safari Consultant to Realtor and everything in-between, giving new meaning to "Jill of all trades". She has lived in the US since 1996 living in different southern states and now has settled in Mustang, Oklahoma. For the past 15 years, she has been married to Marcus, her best friend and the love of her life.  Kathy enjoys learning new things, especially all things technology and can usually be seen with her Macbook underarm." When she is not working, she enjoys traveling and loves exploring different cities and cultures, soaking up some sun by the pool with a good book, or lounging on a beach somewhere. Kathy is always willing to lend a hand and is a caregiver to her 90-year-old Grandma who currently lives with them and is a dog parent to a loving German Shepherd.

Shepherd, David Ruedy

David is our "tech" guy. If it's broken he can fix it! He serves his CCY family as a leader of the Tech Ministry, and you will often find him at odd hours at the church repairing and/or improving our technology.

In his free time, he enjoys working on antique cars. So if you happen to see a 1908 Cadillac someday around town, it could well be David behind the wheel!

Shepherd, Kyle Meeks

In age, Kyle Meeks may be CCY's youngest shepherd but in Christian character, he is far beyond his years. Kyle is married to Amanda, a source of true joy in his life. Late in 2014, their firstborn, Mason, became the family's newest addition, and recently Ethan has joined the family. Some of Kyle's friends tease him about his predictability, calling him "robot," but just when you think you have him pegged, he jumps on his motorcycle and heads for an off-road enduro or throws on his mud cleats for a neighborhood football game. Kyle is intrigued by the world of Christian apologetics, one reason he's a C.S. Lewis enthusiast. But again, before you pigeonhole him as a total intellectual realize he also has Clive Cussler novels in his personal library (as well as a video of Liam Neeson's Taken!). Kyle has committed himself to make disciples of Christ "a few at a time," something he is always willing to sit down and discuss.

Shepherd, Ryan Porter

Here is a man who is a true student of God's word. Though not a pastor by trade, Ryan's interests have led him all the way to a Master's in Theology. He has a passion for clearly understanding and teaching Bible truth. His loyalties to God, family & country are obvious in his everyday lifestyle. But don't misunderstand, Ryan isn't too spiritual to have blast at a Thunder game, enjoy a "Lord of the Rings" movie or roll around the living room floor laughing with his kids. He somehow manages to even work in a couple of hobbies, running, and woodworking. Ryan is sold out to the mission of discipling others to be deep followers of Christ.

Shepherd, Drew Hamilton

Drew plays rhythm guitar in the praise band and loves working with our youth. He serves us all every day as an Oklahoma Highway Patrolman, usually piloting an OHP helicopter. Along with music, Drew enjoys spending time with his family and grandson, Jayden, and vacationing in the Grand Cayman Islands.

Shepherd, James Snell

James and Joyce have been married for 50+ years and have three daughters. James has a degree in Industrial Physics but spent most of his working career as a chemical engineer with Phillips Petroleum Co. James gave his life to Christ and was baptized at the age of 10 at the South Haven Christian Church in South Haven, Kansas. James started teaching the Bible in Sunday School class in the mid-1970s at East Bartlesville Christian church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. During his time at East Bartlesville James served as Sunday School teacher, Youth church preacher, Sunday School superintendent, Sunday night worship song leader, Deacon, Elder, Board chairman, and a Trustee. James describes himself as being called to be a teacher though he has served in almost every position in a local congregation.

Shepherd, Sam Minick

Sam gave his life to Jesus in 1979 at Meridian Park church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City. Just a short while later he was baptized and felt the Lord leading him to serve others and point them to Jesus. He married his high-school sweetheart, Teresa Bohn at the age of 20. God blessed them with three wonderful girls and several grandchildren that bring him great joy. He has the heart to support the mission field and introduce people to my savior Jesus Christ. He strives to live by the words of Jesus when He said, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone." (Mark 16:15). Through his business, God gives him plenty of opportunities to demonstrate his faith through love, to his customers and team members. He feels honored to be serving alongside this group of guys doing Kingdom work!
