Chili Cook-Off & Dessert Auction Fundraiser

Wednesday, February 4 | 6:00–7:30 PM | CCY Gym

Bring your church family, bring friends, bring your appetite. Join us for a night of food, fun, and fellowship at our Annual Chili Cook-Off & Dessert Auction, raising support for the Guatemala Mission Team.

How the night works

  • Taste & Vote: Purchase tasting tickets at the door, sample the chilis, and vote for your favorite by dropping tickets into the chili's vote jar.
  • Dessert Auction: Bid on a variety of homemade desserts in a silent auction (no minimum bid!).
  • Support Missions: Proceeds are equally divided among participants attending the Guatemala mission trip.

Tickets (Tasting + Voting)

Tickets will be sold at the door. Only tasting tickets are needed to participate.

Bundle Options:

  • 5 tickets for $5

  • 12 tickets for $10

  • 25 tickets for $20

Payment Accepted: Cash and checks.

Dessert Auction (Silent Auction)

Want to sweeten the night? Bid on homemade desserts donated by our church family.

  • No minimum bid

  • Winners take desserts home at the end of the night

  • Allergens/ingredients will be listed when available

Chili Entry Info (For Cooks)

Anyone can enter — no max entries!

Please plan to bring:

  • 1–2 gallons of chili

  • A crockpot/slow cooker (to keep it warm)

  • A simple ingredient/allergy list (very important)

Chili Setup/Drop-Off: Set-up begins at 4 PM.

Chili Awards (Trophies, Certificates + Bragging Rights 😄)

Winners will receive a trophy and eternal CCY glory.

  • Best Overall Chili (Judges' Choice)

  • Spiciest Chili

  • Most Creative Chili

  • Crowd Favorite

  • Best name

Voting Method: Tickets-in-jars (simple and fun).

Dessert Donation Info (For Bakers)

Any homemade dessert is welcome!

Please include:

  • Dessert name

  • Key ingredients + allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, etc.)

Dessert Drop-Off: Wednesday (day of the event)
